A workspace for thinking through the numbers
Stud & Stone provides local-browser calculators for surfaces, coverings, concrete, lumber, fencing, and energy planning. Each tool keeps dimensions, units, product yield, and allowances visible so an early estimate can be checked against the actual site and product instructions.
These pages help organize a materials conversation; they do not inspect a room, establish a structural design, confirm a supplier's coverage, or replace local building, electrical, plumbing, or permit advice.
Measure before you order
Start with the materials and quantities hub, record openings and dimensions, and separate calculated quantity from waste, spare stock, delivery, and contingency. The materials planning guide shows illustrative area and volume arithmetic.
